70085-1010-559 AI-TEK speed sensor probe is used to monitor the speed of the unit. It is widely used in power generation, steel plants, metallurgical plants, chemical plants, refineries and petrochemical plants, machinery plants, automobiles, aviation environment and other enterprises. Based on the principle of magnetoresistance, the internal structure of the sensor is a magnet, magnetic sheet and coil (see Figure 1). The magnetic field (magnetic field lines) extends from the magnet, through the polar plate and the coil in the space at the end of the sensor. The return path of the magnetic field is from space to the other end of the magnet. When a ferrous object passes through the tip of the polar plate, the magnetic field will increase and decrease successively as the object passes through the polar plate. This sudden or rapid change in the magnetic field induces an AC voltage signal inside the coil. For a sensor that matches the ideal target, the induced voltage is a sine wave shape. As we have seen, the frequency signal generated is proportional to the number of ferromagnets passing through the polar plate per unit time. The amplitude of the output voltage is proportional to the speed at which the ferromagnetic body passes through the polar plate.
