The DW-SYSTEM air wave system consists of a DW or D3 series switch and a sensitive control device (emitter: sensitive edge - pneumatic platform).

DW SERIES

DW air wave switches are contact elements that can be used with working pressures from 0.2 to 50mbar and are able to switch electrical loads up to 0.5A from 12 to 220Vdc (AC1).The minimum actuation is 20mA24V. The self-cleaning electrical contact can be set for NO or NC operation, either with a pressure or a vacuum signal. The contact pressure is directly proportional to the activation pressure.

D3 SERIES

The D3 air wave switches are contact elements with working pressures from 2 to 5mbar and are capable of switching electrical loads up to 1A- 250Vac cosphi = 1 and 0.3A- 250Vac cosphi = 0.4.The electrical contact with quick release and self-cleaning, it can be adjusted for NO or NC operation, both with a pressure and depression signal. The contact pressure is independent of the actuation pressure. The mounting position is irrelevant.
